Terms

Effective 01-Oct-2026. By using this site or commissioning editing work through it, you agree to the following.

Services

I provide academic editing and proofreading services as described on this site. Quotes are estimates until confirmed; final pricing is agreed before work begins.

Payment

Paid work is contracted and paid through Upwork, including via Upwork's Direct Contracts feature for clients who found this site independently. I don't accept payment outside Upwork for work sourced this way.

Revisions

One round of revision on a delivered edit is included, covering clarification of edits already made - not a second full pass on new material.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts you send are kept confidential and used only to provide the requested service. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Limitation

Editing improves language, clarity, and formatting; it does not guarantee acceptance by a journal, committee, or institution.
